Picasso began his academic training in A Coruña (Galicia), where he lived between 1891 and 1895. It was a fundamental step in his artistic journey as a Spanish painter. This period was exhaustively studied in the exhibition El primer Picasso. A Coruña 2015 (The first Picasso. Coruña 2015), organized in the Museo de Belas Artes da Coruña. This new exhibition, promoted by the Xunta de Galicia, is divided into eleven periods that contemplate all the stages of Picasso's production. For each of them at least one piece will be selected and related in the narrative discourse of the exhibition with the period of training of the artist during his years lived in Coruna. Curators: Antón Castro, Malén Gual y Rubén Ventureira. General Coordinator: Mª Ángeles Penas Truque (director of the Museo de Belas Artes de Coruña)
